Stewards

Please Note:
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our procedures around stewarding will need to change. We are in the process of finalising our risk assessments and putting processes in place to protect the welfare of all volunteers, members and committee. Updated information will be published in due course and will be updated in line with changing national or regional legislation as well as in compliance with our governing body.
Each show needs stewards to run. As a club we need people to help the day run.
Approximately 12 stewards are needed for each club day, and 9 for combined training. It is an extremely rewarding day and you will be provided a free lunch.
Stewards are required for:
- Showjumping stewarding (putting up jumps, collecting ring)
- Working hunter (writing for the judge, putting up jumps)
- Showing and Equitation (assisting the judge)
- Dressage writing
- Runners
All members are expected to steward or provide a steward on at least one occasion per season. Without stewards the club will not be able to run events and may even have to cancel.
We also require stewards for all team events.
