We await updates from British Riding Club for 2021 Qualifiers and Finals

Lakes Riding Club is part of the British Riding Club (BRC) Area 3 North West Region (or Northern Liaison Group (NLG)) ond is affiliated to both the BRC and NLG.

Lakes RC is therefore able to enter teams and individual riders in Area Qualifier competitions throughout the year, with qualifying teams/individual riders being put forward to national champtionships

The BRC host 7 national championships per year ranging from intro dressage all the way up to advanced medium and 70cm show jumping up to 110cm.

LRC Teams are entered for Area Qualifier competitions where they compete against other riding club teams from across the north west of England. Lakes RC has enjoyed many very successful years at both Area and Champtionship events with teams winning in a variety of disciplines. 

Team competitions are a fantastic opportunity to showcase the club and qualify to compete nationally against the best riding clubs in the UK.

If you are interested in representing LRC in a team event then please make sure:

• You Have Read the TEAM GUIDELINES
• You Have Read the 2021 BRC Rulebook/Handbook
• Your Horse’s Passport & Vaccinations are correct and up to date Flu Vac Checker 2021
• You are a fully paid up member of Lakes RC
• You are able to commit to both the area and championship dates
• You can provide a steward to help at the area/ championship competition.
• You contact the relevant Team Managers and send a completed Team Form ON TIME!

Team members will be asked to pay their NLG entry fee and the Club will pay the BRC entry fees. Payment must be sent as soon requested by the team managers. No places will be confirmed without payment.

Our very successful 2018  Senior 100cm showjumping team went on to win the National Championship and were invited to be the sole British representatives at the World Cup Tournament at Lamotte Buevron in France!  You can find out more about their adventure HERE!    The team and their backup crew undertook a programme of fundraising and obtained some fantastic sponsorship to fund the trip and were also able to donate the surplus of their fundraising to allow Lakes RC to purchase some lovely bright fillers for the show jumping rings.
